Luis García Jr. went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double and five RBIs as the Washington Nationals beat the Baltimore Orioles 6-4 to win the series. García’s first long ball came in the top of the fifth, a two-run homer off Tyler Wells with a 104.7 mph exit velocity, 27 degree launch angle and a 401-foot projection that made it 5-2. He added a second homer later in the game that was upheld on review, his next tally of the season. Zack Littell earned the win, Kyle Bradish took the loss and PJ Poulin recorded the final six outs for the save. The Nationals moved back over .500 and continued a hot offensive stretch that has Luis García Jr. at 15, 16 homers and an .850 OPS in recent team reports.
