Jay White made a surprise return at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view, appearing during the AEW World Tag Team Title match between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage and The Dogs. White reunited the Bang Bang Gang at ringside and intervened to help Copeland and Cage retain the AEW World Tag Team Titles. The Switchblade had been absent from AEW television for over 14 months before this appearance. His reappearance restores White to AEW storylines and brings the Bang Bang Gang back to full strength on the pay-per-view stage.
