Trump Had a Billion-Dollar Windfall After Returning to the White House
Convicted Felon Donald Trump, in just his first year back in the Oval Office, raked in more than $2.2 BILLION, while everyday Americans suffer. I've got the details of Trump’s financial disclosure, including how much he made off of settlements from his bullshit lawsuits. youtu.be/8TWBbqMCbDE?...
Fucking disgusting! He’s amassed $6.5B off of US? My TDS is high.
$2.2 billion is just what we know about. We don't know how much has been kicked back to him from the no-bid contracts or how much he has skimmed from corporate donations to his vanity projects.
Are you kidding ? That’s only what we know about.
Ugh! He's so damn greedy.
Where’s the surprising part of begin?
I want to know how much he made selling pardons.
Pressed on a disclosure showing he made at least $1.4b off crypto in 2025, Trump lied by saying "I don't get involved" (he's personally promoted his crypto businesses), then dismissed a follow up about how he's profiting off the presidency, saying "everybody is profiting." Here's full exchange:
I assume by everybody he means his family and cronies. Those are the only people that matter to him.
He’s made more money since he’s been president than he ever made in business.
He made/stole millions last time and nobody cared. Why would he change now?
He also said he doesn’t talk to the people in charge of his finances while he’s president. Meanwhile his sons are right behind him, the very people in charge of it. 🤦♀️
The Trump family has really mastered the old motto that there is a sucker born every minute:
If he's talking he's lying.
Here's who is not profiting: the many, many investors who lost $2.8b on Trump's crypto scams. Trump's profits from those investments? About $2.8b.
After 2029, we need heads at the SEC and IRS that will go after these with all the fury that is required.
oh que espanto que surpresa o estadunidense presidente mente. e mente assim em público diante de câmeras jornalistas fodace whatever.
The ads write themselves. "He's getting rich. So what if you're struggling?"
The time is past that this demon and his nazi followers are brought to justice. They are murders, fraudsters, rapists and liars.
“This makes every previous corruption scandal look like a tempest in a Teapot Dome… Given the nature of crypto, identities of people paying Trump A BILLION+ DOLLARS are opaque to the public but easy to prove to Trump himself.” @normative.bsky.social bsky.app/profile/norm... bsky.app/profile/zach...
By "everybody" he means everyone in this family and his donors. Not the American people.
I think if I were about to get on a plane given to me by a foreign power for its maiden flight, I wouldn’t tempt fate by telling a whole bunch of lies right before I take off. There’s lightning up there!
That's an especially long lie, even for him.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but crypto produces nothing. It has no inherent value or function. That Trump made $1.2 billion in crypto means people simply gave Trump $1.2 billion. Many were just duped. Others gave it in exchange for something, and we don't know what that something is.
Crypto was made for criminal payments—Tr*mp's been using his crypto biz to rake in $$$ for pardons, dropped fraud investigations, monopoly merger OKs & monetizing every POTUS decision, even if it puts us/our nation at risk thx to Roberts Court giving 47 total immunity for crimes committed in office!
Crypto is nothing. A promise? An idea? A bit of math works? Also, if 🍊🤡 had earnings from trading/selling crypto, he’s supposed to pay taxes on it. Something he fights tooth and nail not to do. Maybe we can get him on tax fraud like we did with Capone.
I thought it was good at laundering money.
Absolutely no value. He fleeced a bunch of people of their money 💰
The word “make” gets thrown around a lot. When someone goes into their shop and takes raw materials and produces something useful or beautiful they are making something. When someone “makes” money, especially when we are talking about billions it is usually simply theft of other people’s labor.
People bought his crypto coin thinking the value is going up, once the value had gone to the figure Dumpster had in his head he „cashed in“ Took all those folks money, he’s a fkn thief
“.. The returns .. highlight a conflict in the president’s crypto business: Not only is Mr. Trump a major crypto industry operator, but he is also its top policymaker.” @nytimes.com www.nytimes.com/2026/06/30/u...
"bUT hE dOEsn'T taKE A sALArY!"
The corporate media spent weeks debating whether a check Biden received from his brother while not in office was an impeachable offense.
I can't fathom how much money this Trump Fam is vacuuming-up during this Tenure. Billions!
What did his voters and the rest of the country get?
That is how they pay for his services because everyone else lost money. The $TRUMP souvenir memecoins spiked to over $74 shortly after launch but have since plummeted to $1.68 (an 80%+ drop). The World Liberty Financial tokens have similarly lost roughly 80% of their value since they began trading
And the people at CNBC NEVER say anything on air about it CNBFOX!
Its not a conflict of interest it is literally a direct violation of the constitution
Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm to avoid conflicts
They made Jimmy Carter put his peanut farm into a blind trust
Call me crazy, but I definitely prefer a president who isn’t actively running a $1.4 billion crypto scam from the Oval Office.
~fascinante~ como o New York Times chama de ~~~ganho inesperado~~~ o fato do Trump ter ganhado bilhões de forma flagrantemente corrupta e ilegal no segundo governo dele. Mas, né, tudo é fácil demais pra extrema-direita...
thinking a lot these days about the old common law duty of loyalty standard in relation to holding an office of public trust for no reason at all
Oh man when Nick Shirley finds out about this things are going to look so bad for Trump.
A windfall, you say! What a stroke of good fortune for him! A lucky man.
doesn’t sound like there’s much of a conflict. seems pretty harmonious to me.
Trump made more than $1bn from crypto in first year back in office. High office is now the key to personal and family riches. Former US President Harry Truman once said: "Show me a man that gets rich by being a politician, and I'll show you a crook."
It was clearly always part of his plan. Didn't he say recently that he sees nothing wrong with profiting from presidential incumbency, despite clear prohibitions in the constitution? As with everything Trump does - the question is: who is going to stop him?
I guarantee Trump is also the one using the Polymarket to place bets on foreign affairs.
Total grifter, getting his revenge by getting everything he can from his position as the worst President the US has ever hadm
He‘s not making $1bn „from crypto“. He issues access tokens to the US government by „selling crypto“. The buyers do not expect anything other than access and control, so they don‘t care about the value of the TrumpCoins. It is all transactional. US power is for sale. ꓯSꓵ
I fear that for too many voters in the US and now UK, the corruption is priced into their expectations. All of the 'services', banks, insurers, supermarket chains are ripping us off so obviously politicians too. At least Trump and Farage offer a little entertainment while they pick our pockets!
Old school here: Seems a primary responsibility of Office of Presidency would be to defend the paper that makes the system go. Not promote an alternative currency
Trump’s $2.2 billion dollar crypto “profit” isn’t from public purchases, they’re bribes. The scandal isn’t that Trump made that much money, it’s that he’s manufactured one scam after another that has made it possible for the wealthy and other nations to bribe him with impunity.
Also should be mentioned that Trump’s crypto haul is likely being used to launder money and at some point, if we fight our way out of this and the full story emerges, we’re likely to find that there has been a full-scale organized crime syndicate operating using American power.
Is it fair to say, a deal to buy/sell something before/after T says something to react the markets.
Trump has earned $2.3 billion since the beginning of his presidency through 4 different crypto schemes. The common denominator for each: the Trumps win big, and you lose. Data from @reuters.com.
The word "earned" is doing a whole lot of heavy lifting here.
I wouldn't use the word "earned", but otherwise...
I'm sure the list of charities that will receive all of this revenue will soon be revealed, right? Since his most staunch supporters continue to claim to this day he is not profiting off the presidency? Maybe we'll see them just after his tax returns are released, which should also be any moment...
He hasn’t EARNED anything in his life!
It's disgusting and no one is doing anything to stop it. He's going to steal everything in the treasury if he gets a chance.
"Earned" is quite the euphemism here.
The Trump administration is a criminal organization. It is the most corrupt presidency in United States history. This Is the Formula That Defeated Orban. It Would Defeat Trump, Too. 5/29/26 ✍️ M. GESSEN 🎁 Article
What are the products here? What's being sold? In some cases it appears to be outright bribery, quid pro quo. The retail investors in the meme coin, though, are probably buying a permission structure for xenophobia, racism, misogyny, and a stake in an end-times Christian Nationalist fantasy.
Donald Trump just released his 2026 financial disclosure. Maybe he’s hoping people won’t be paying attention going into the long weekend, or that his July 4th spectacle will overshadow the fact that he’s making BILLIONS during his presidency. 🧵
Here’s what we learned: Trump is making more money than ever: Trump reported over $2.2 billion in revenue in 2025, compared to a minimum of $622 million in 2024.
And it’s probably not truthful. He’s obviously not putting his embezzlement money in there.
MAGA: "He's donating his presidential salary!!!"
Michael Sherman laying out how Trump spent the four years Joe was President setting up grifting opportunities for his 2nd term; Trump was pretty confident he was going to win.
I get the feeling the entire Trump Organization will come tumbling down once DJT is no longer POTUS. Influence is all that he is selling.
Remember when he thanked Justice Robert on Inauguration Day?
Reporter: Critics say you are profiting off the presidency. Trump: I am profiting because the stock market is going up. Everybody is profiting. Thank you President Trump (Trump reported more than $1.4 billion in income from crypto and digital tokens in 2025.)
Wrong, he profits from manipulating the markets, which means he is robbing other market participants.
Democrats this stuff is just falling in your lap. USE IT!!!
Remember: this didn’t happen by accident. Republicans at every level — local, state, and federal — enabled it, defended it, and wrote the rules that let it happen. This November, flush out the corruption and incompetence.
Insider dealing, gifts on demand and widespread corruption would probably be a more accurate answer. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/28/w...
"Everybody is profiting" says Trump in 21214.png, but critics note the game is rigged. While he cleared $1.4B+ in crypto in 2025 via deregulatory policies, his former personal lawyer running the DOJ (Acting AG Todd Blanche) ensures he & his family face zero future financial prosecution.
Well you manage the policies that allow your companies to profit. Very unethical. Just over 50% of Americans have investments in the stock market. Mostly in retirement funds. The rest of America is not benefiting from this and are feeling the effects of inflation.
This is so gross. These are the bribes paid to Trump by cowardly media companies. Each one of the payoffs is listed on his recent financial disclosure form as income. Amazon's $10M bribe to Melania is on there, too. www.nbcnews.com/politics/don...
He’s also keeping the Qatari jet he’s currently inaugurating for his North Dakota trip, where he’s comparing himself to teddy roosevelt. Maybe that “Trump bear” thing will catch on after all.
Isn’t the answer for all decent people to boycott these companies? I’ve stopped all streaming and YouTube and it has only improved my life.
The amounts involved are small compared to his crypto gains, but this is a particularly repellent form of corruption.
It's really wild that the President of the US can't be sued or prosecuted, because being involved in legal proceedings would distract him from his important work. But he can sue anybody he wants, & use the tremendous power of his office to force a settlement on whatever terms he wants.
“large sums flooding in from gold cement the impression of a man…far more obsessed with financial gain than he is with political change. But he just can’t stop himself. Farage’s greed has trumped his political ambition” His own greed doing for him would be just👌🏼 liveapp.inews.co.uk/category/461...
His bankrollers will want their pound of flesh. They may find they have backed a lame horse!
Some excellent contributions in this debate - I especially like Ellie Chowns wording 👇 bsky.app/profile/loyd...
That’s all he’s ever been interested in. The role he’s played has been only to that end and will play it until it has no value.
Trump Pulled in at Least $2 Billion After Returning to the White House The release of a mandatory financial disclosure for 2025 shows that the Trump family’s holdings, particularly the president’s crypto businesses, were stunningly lucrative. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/30/u...
And a sidebar with some historical context. Nothing on this scale in American history has ever happened before at the White House. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/30/u...
Corruption on an unprecedented scale
Horrifying. Vile crypto. Will be reading.
He was BRIBED with at least $2 billion. Just fucking say it. These are bribes that this career money launderer has laundered through his crypto scheme and other shady shit. He is a fucking crook and a grifter and he is stealing from the American people. Do your job and report the facts.
“Pulled in” Let’s see what headline the @nytimes.com uses when Dem Presidents use their position to profit off the presidency
Its our money. Its theft from the american taxpayer. Freeze and impound the assets. —- Fwiw $1B is more than if you earned median wage for every day since 1776 and invested every penny at 5% compound interest
“Pulled in” “Stunningly lucrative” Also, wildly illegal & unconstitutional. Again, that needs to be the hed, dek, lede, & main message of the entire article.
Dem candidates should be all over the airwaves and platforms and newspapers: “These fuckers took all your money and stuffed it into their pockets. They think you’re too stupid to notice”. bsky.app/profile/eric...
“Trump’s $2.2 BILLION crypto ‘profit’ isn’t from public purchases, they’re bribes. The scandal isn’t that Trump [fleeces], it’s that [corruption] made it possible for the wealthy and other nations to bribe him with impunity.” @jysexton.bsky.social bsky.app/profile/jyse... Archive: archive.is/e7KDA
look at how much this hero has sacrificed for our country out of the goodness of his heart
———————————— Thread has main article & sidebar—and gift links to boot…thanks! Trump, family & cronies raking in this kind of money without consistent, widespread media outrage is one of the most head-scratching aspects of our sordid state.
A true man of the people.
This by itself merits impeachment, removal, and a criminal investigation
Trump's crypto ventures do not make anything and do not provide anything or service of value. Instead, they serve to transfer money directly from "investors" to Trump and his family. Those "investors" include his own supporters, whom he fleeces, and anyone who want to bribe him.
And, not surprisingly, The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is controlled by Chairman, Michael S. Selig, who serves as the sole commissioner of the normally five-person panel. He was nominated by President Donald Trump and confirmed by the Senate in late 2025. The corruption is deep.
This case study of corruption should be the basis for the next Congress to enact enforceable laws to stop it
Are the purchased pardons in that stream or is that a separate fund ...
