Many athletes have accepted questionable calls and lived to play another day. I knew FIFA was morally suspect but this is a step too far.

Matt Ford6The red was not egregious. Once it hit VAR, it almost has to be red. If this ruling said: VAR was misapplied therefore we are rescinding the suspension I'd feel better. But awarding red after those videos was well within Laws of the Game. This screams of standard FIFA corruption/backroom dealing.
