Ariana Grande withdraws from American Horror Story Season 13

Ariana Grande is no longer part of American Horror Story season 13, Variety has learned. She left Ryan Murphy’s production because of scheduling conflicts with her Eternal Sunshine tour. The news follows FX’s first look at season 13, which reunites past AHS stars including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman. Grande had teased in November to Variety that she would likely have a small role and that she was “coming into the world in a way that I still don’t know much about.” FX and 20th Television declined to comment, and Variety reached out to Grande’s representatives for comment.
