Nonbinary Coded Games festival on Steam, July 13, 20

Nonbinary Coded Games launched on Steam July 13 and runs through July 20, showcasing more than 150 games made by nonbinary, genderqueer, and outside-the-binary developers and titles with nonbinary representation. Participating projects include demos and discounts, for example Dungeon Bodega Simulator offered a 20 percent discount and Beatdown City Survivors has a launch-cooldown sale starting July 18. Several developers note featured demos are available immediately, Blanksword's free demo is included in the festival bundle, and Soulblaze timed an in-event update and DLC release to coincide with the showcase. The festival also highlights teams' identities as part of the curation, with one developer noting the current lunr.rdio.taxi team is entirely trans. Organizers and creators are running streams and scheduled playthroughs across the week to spotlight titles and drive discovery. The event closes July 20, after which normal store listings and individual sale schedules resume.
