The Archers, Harrison returns with menacing homecoming

Harrison returned to Ambridge and reunited with Fallon in a tense homecoming that quickly turned sour. In his first reappearance since Thursday 22 January he told Fallon not to worry about deleted CCTV footage, said he had rejected another woman, and urged that he and Fallon stay in contact. Several social-media posts quoted above describe his behaviour as “creepy,” “controlling,” and “the character I dislike the most,” and say Fallon and Harrison do not seem to be on the same page. Other posts link the return to rising tension because George is a dad-to-be and Harrison apparently believes the baby should be his. Listeners also noted Harrison’s thin veneer of respectability and warned the reunion could destabilise Fallon’s relationship with George. The reappearance sets up further conflict between Harrison, Fallon and George in coming episodes.

The distance between the West Midlands and Yorkshire is really not much. 3 hours max in the car and potentially less by train (or longer, depending on connections) but prob only a couple of hours. Harrison wasn’t working at Lands End or Carlisle! 1/2 #TheArchers
