Oh, one more thing... Here's a print ad for the the Game & Watch version featuring Mario and Luigi WAY before Nintendo had gotten a more uniform design for them like we see today. But even as a kid I was used to Mario looking different in almost everything he was featured it. This was normal lol

Did you know that before Nintendo invented Luigi for 1983's Mario Bros arcade game, Mario had a different, identical twin brother in 1982's Donkey Kong Jr? That was Mario 2 but in Japan he was actually called Mario Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic🤔
