Meta sued for using AI to tag employees on leave
Zuckerberg sued for using AI to target employees with disabilities, for layoffs. These people keep telling us who they are and are begging to be regulated. There's no good reason other for *not* regulating these companies other than greed. www.reuters.com/world/meta-u...
Sort of reminds me of the time I worked for a French tech firm and us foreigners made up around 8% of the company (in France) but were over 60% of the layoffs when the company was struggling. They didn't need any AI for that. 😂
Zuckerberg has turned out to be a real Jackass!
Zuckerberg stole Facebook, so we can start there. He has no morals, no dignity and no feelings for anyone but himself. He's a sociopath. He doesn't care who gets hurt as long as it's not him. Money is all he cares about. People are here to exploit and enrich him. That is all.
There’s a strong body of case law supporting workers targeted because of their disabilities. State & federal laws also prohibit this. It should be an interesting case because it looks like it’s injunctive in nature & I could see the appointment of a Special Master w/the right judge.
He is fucked that is third major lawsuit. He has the one for 1.4 trillion in Cali, then the one were Meta poisoning a cities Warner supply and now this one. But this one can fall under federal and Trump will do away with it.
Any industry that campaigns against regulation absolutely must be regulated.
Delete Facebook and Instagram. And Twitter. Fuck them all.
Anyone still using any meta product is part of the problem.
What happens if AI is not regulated and companies like Palantir collect Americans health information with the help of the government? Private information could be used against us for jobs, loans, and much more.
