I know it's got to suck for everyone down there. It's certainly not your fault that we are having all these fires. Wind does not know boundaries. And smoke doesn't care. We have lost whole communities and unfortunately the fires are enormous and will last a long time. Climate change is real.

This morning the sun is shrouded. I never saw a smoky sunset until I was 16. And then it was near the Canadian border, hours north of me. Now it is a normal thing for the summer. At the treeline you can see smoke. This is from the BWCA fires in Northern MN. Taken near the east side of St. Paul.
