MagicCon Amsterdam Day 2 featured panels, creator meet and greets, ticketed play areas and a cosplay contest. Jack Saunders hosted the Preview Panel on the Mana Stage that dove into Reality Fracture and sketched where Magic will go in 2027. The Secret Lair Reveal-A-Thon panel and a Fblthp scavenger hunt with a finishing prize were on the schedule alongside a MTGxMarvel Limited PTQ and other ticketed play events. Creators and guests on the floor included Brian David Gilbert and artist Magali Villeneuve, and a meet and greet with Tolarian College took place at the Gamegenic booth in Hall 1. The Gathering Grounds in Hall 1 ran Learn2Play sessions, a draft and a Treachery event. Organizers announced there will be four MagicCons next year and that the final MagicCon of 2027 returns to Amsterdam December 3 to 5, giving attendees firm dates for future plans.

Maybe Reality Fracture will highlight other planes like Mirrodin Pure besides just the alternate Arcavios (with Hexhaven instead of Strixhaven). I hope Reality Fracture doesn’t just feature Hexhaven, because a massive, alternate lore driven idea requires way more than 1 set to flesh out.

It's possible that lore wise a lot could happen here. There's a huge opportunity to retcon stuff and just have it become what is now instead of what was. Everything from Zhalfir being back on Dominaria to the Next Eternity happening. I'm optimistic for the next universe within sets.
