Universal confirmed an Evil Dead Burn haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 35 at Universal Orlando Resort and for the Universal Studios Hollywood edition. Orlando Sentinel reports the Haunted House is the ninth maze announced for HHN 2026 and is based on the film Evil Dead Burn, released earlier this month and directed by Sebastien Vanicek. The HHN maze will re-create moments that begin in a secluded vacation home in the woods and, according to Universal, guests will encounter ferocious Deadites before succumbing to the evil forces themselves. Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando runs 49 select nights from August 28 through November 1; the Universal Studios Hollywood event opens September 3. Orlando’s 2026 lineup will total 10 haunted mazes; previously announced entries include Hellraiser, the fifth season of Stranger Things, the Oscar-winning film Sinners, Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control, Cybergoria, Invasion: Alien Abduction, Madlands: Caged Cannibals, and H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular. Universal says tickets are now on sale and directs readers to universalorlando.com/hhn for more information.
