Between this and the article on stealing from gas stations, we must ask ourselves - what do British cops actually do all day? Feels like we could arrest more than half of them for loitering and we'd see no chance in crime stats.

My gawd. It's brutal what these women went through. Of course, it makes sense that Pelicot wasn't alone in what she suffered; that it wasn't a stand-alone monstrosity. Thanks for shining a light on these crimes, tough as it is to read about them.

This is a very disturbing read and some people might not wish to have the details in their heads, but it cites so many prosecutions for drug-facilitated rape and and sexual assault (DFSA); the Pelicot case hardly seems like an outlier now.
