I liked Nolan's take on The Odyssey, though after speaking with my wife Zooey, I do have a few criticisms, such as Nolan's take on Penelope and the lack of the Gods. But I will say this: Elliot Page really killed it in a certain scene, and I'm really happy he was in the movie.

They are so present in this film, in every choppy sea and cracking thunder that throws Odysseus and his men across the sea. We may not see literal guys, but Zeus and Poseidon are so present in this film.
