Indiana Jones returns in Marvel's 'Sword of Pandemonium' comic

Marvel revealed Indiana Jones and the Sword of Pandemonium, a five-issue limited series launching in December 2026, at the Lucasfilm Publishing panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. The series is written by Jason Aaron, who previously led Marvel's 2015 Star Wars run, with art by Aaron Kuder, and the first issue features cover art by Kuder, Bryan Hitch, and Alex Ross. The story is a direct follow-up to Raiders of the Lost Ark and Marvel’s solicitation calls the book "kicking off a new era of Marvel Comics Indiana Jones storytelling." Marvel positioned the title as the publisher's return to the Indy franchise after a long gap in new Indiana Jones comics under Disney and Lucasfilm. The announcement signals Marvel and Lucasfilm plan further Indiana Jones publishing work beyond this miniseries.
