Marvel Tōkon open beta launches; EAC blocks Linux players

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls just kicked off its open beta and the moment split between excited reveals and technical headaches. The team rolled out an anime-style opening movie featuring the theme Stronger as One and confirmed Phoenix Cyclops as the first DLC character while a trailer showed Magik using Dark Portals and transforming into Darkchild. Players jumping in praise the game’s speed and revamped roster but many are stuck on PC because Easy Anti-Cheat is not configured for Linux and Steam Deck/Proton users cannot get past login, a problem compounded by a PlayStation Network outage affecting some testers.
