Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced sells 3.5M copies in 14 days
"Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has made a strong start with 3.5 million copies sold-in to date, exceeding annual expectations within its first 14 days" staticctf.ubisoft.com/8aefmxkxpxwl...
Oh hey, I sure hope the dev team gets to work on another entry… oh
And still they fired 51 workers in Ubisoft Barcelona 🤬
Makes sense that it did exceedingly well that they cut staff on that Dev team. Makes perfect sense.*nods head sarcastically*
Team getting laid off anyway?
Good, now I want them to remember AC1 exists. It's a crapshoot but I think Unity could also use a remake to fulfill its untapped potential. Just give me another game with Arno during the Napoleonic era.
It's still fun to play but its still plagued by the issues of the original. Only now there's some mutant battlepass feature hidden inside that gives rewards for OTHER AC titles? What good at rewards for AC shadows if people don't play it?
ubisoft added, "shame is wasn't 3.5m and 1, then we wouldn't have had to lay off all those developers"
Ubisoft has made a strong start with 3.5 million employees laid off, exceeding annual expectations.
Cuanto más hable Ubisoft del éxito de este juego, más recordaremos cómo pisoteó a los trabajadores que lo hicieron.
jogo de pirata que tinha parte que não era de pirata é relançado sem algumas das partes que não eram de pirata e vende 10 piratilhões de dólares, entenda;
"exceeding annual expectations within its first 14 days" ou seja???? lay off de mil pessoas na ubisoft vindo aí obviamente
It's making money so expect more layoffs.
but i thought they made it woke? doesn't woke mean no money? you're telling me grifters on the internet lied???
and that's why we here at Ubisoft will be firing the releasing devs
Better not see any layoffs over there in the next year.
and in the end nobody got laid
ubisoft should be launched into space for what they did to the black flag resynced staff. and they stripped the combat way the hell down. ubisoft does not make the worst games out there but they way theyve turned into MTX hawks while skimping on features and decency is where they get a bad rap
firing people the day the game drops. no ubisoft support on my timeline please lmao
yes-and: their games all force the use of a buggy, invasive launcher whose functional requirements transparently came from an MBA in the front office, with no intent to actually be a product that serves the needs of the users.
They should also be launched into space for Rocksmith+
Assassin's Creed Valhalla was, in a word, exhausting. There is definitely such a thing as too much to do in a game and it hit that bar immediately. Gameplay wasn't even varied at all. Felt like busy work that I paid to do.
Ubisoft asked on its earnings call today if the Rayman remake will be as successful as Black Flag Resynced. The CEO did not say no. "Assassin’s Creed is a very, very big brand. You need to take into consideration the relative size of the brands. Rayman Legends is really an iconic game..."
Ah. Yeah, they're going to fire absolutely everyone ever involved with Rayman the second this remake releases.
The second the Rayman remake is released they're going to take the dev team out back and execute them one by one with the cow stunner.
We have entered the "Tony Montana face-down in a kilo of uncut cocaine" stage of the Finance Guys being in charge of video games.
Every CEO talks like "Apples have been selling great recently. Ergo, rambutan are going to sell just as much because they're both red things. Also we will burn all rambutan fields if they cannot sell as much as apples"
Que vayan actualizando el Linkedin.
"Rod, no corras, bonito. Tu tambien estas excluido"
Espera, espera. ¿No se supone que Ubisoft se dividió en pequeñas subdivisiones independientes precisamente para evitar cosas así?
Pues nada. Adiós a Rayman.
They are totally gonna lay off the team of Retold even if it outsells every other rayman game, are they?
