Premier Sports Cup draw pairs Celtic with Dundee United

Celtic were drawn away to Dundee United in the Premier Sports Cup last 16, with the tie set for the weekend of August 15/16, 2026 at Tannadice. The draw, made by former Hibs and Hearts midfielder Michael Stewart live on Premier Sports TV after the St Mirren v Dunfermline Athletic group-stage match in Paisley, produced these last-16 ties: Hibs v Partick Thistle, Dundee United v Celtic, Hearts v Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Dunfermline v Ross County, Aberdeen v Dundee, Stenhousemuir v Motherwell, Rangers v St Mirren, and Kilmarnock v Ayr United. Hibs and Hearts entered the draw as seeded teams because of their participation in European competition.
