My issue with Game of Thrones isn't that it's disloyal to my favorite books.It's that it sucks. It leans on them for great scenes but foregoes the connecting tissue that made them great and slowly completely loses the plot. House of the Dragon has changed a lot but it's good.

The thing about House of the Dragon is you kinda know it’s gonna be a bummer because the whole premise is a very war is hell “here is the conflict that pushed the dragons to the brink of extinction”
