Berlin Pride attack suspect shot and killed by police
The man suspected of carrying out the fatal attack near a gay Pride celebration in Berlin tried to join ISIS and was released from detention in May after being sentenced to prison for preparing a serious act of violence that could endanger the state, local officials said.

We visited the #CSD #Pride Parade in #Berlin on Saturday when the terror attack happened. Most people (us included) did not notice until they read the #news later. In the area where the attack occured, the only security measure I saw was one police car, that drove by once while we were there. 1/3

We left there before it happened & only later saw helicopters fly past, however what I noticed was the lax security on the main roads, even remember remarking on it on arrival.
