Legit wondering how come other companies aren’t copying Capcom’s business model i.e. complete, polished 20-30 hours experiences with critical acclaim and great sales numbers. Like why is everyone struggling when Capcom is showing us how it’s done 🤔

Given how well 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻'𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 has done so far, I'd be shocked if Ubisoft didn't adopt a Resident Evil style approach, alternating between new release and remake.

Like Nintendo, Capcom will tell you exactly how many copies a bestselling title has sold. And according to their own records, the game has only sold 13.6 million copies. Still impressive, and still probably the top remake, but a reminder to be wary of any estimated sales figures.

🖊️ It is heartbreaking how little I am enjoying Resident Evil Requiem. I've worked hard to avoid spoilers and maintain excitement but like the game is just not doing it for me.
