Star Trek: Strange New Worlds S4 Ep1 sends Enterprise 65 million years back
Hell, I JUST saw this happen with STRANGE NEW WORLDS. They did an ep that involved the extinction of the dinosaurs and some fans decided that since the ep didn't acknowledge the space dinosaurs from VOYAGER, the creators didn't know about them and were, thus, breaking canon.

OneWingedSparrow1I can think of like 3 different real life phenomena off the top of my head that happen all the time in REAL LIFE that would explain dinosaurs evolving on multiple planets. Never understood the whole "aliens on other planets MUST be totally alien" thing. It's bullshit. For a lot of reasons.
i watched the first episode of "strange new worlds." i like the mix of retro style and modern fx and then the roddenberry-era world war two vet morality coming from pike. that gorn backstory for their security chief was nuts. for some reason, tho, it felt kinda 1960s "safe," if that makes sense?
