I was gonna say, whenever I see artificial intelligence in a sci-fi story or novel, it's almost always the villain. How many Star Trek episodes literally just had "evil computer" as the antagonist?

Pat Casey7Every episode the NextGen had an AI as a hero There've been a lot of cases of sympathetic AIs in sci fi, which, as it turns out, was a bad thing to do because now a lot of idiots think the AIs are their friends. TV isn't real, guys!

Well, *that's* an episode of Star Trek (SNW S04E02) I will never, ever, EVER rewatch. Hell, I fast-forwarded through most of the Spock bits and the bloodiest of the others' so technically I DNF'd this one (for the first time ever!) I have no stomach for horror or gore whatsoever. 🤮🤮🤮
