Rookie quarterback Carson Beck made his Arizona Cardinals debut in the 2026 NFL Hall of Fame Game against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. Adam Schefter reported Beck completed 15 of 19 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown in his preseason debut. The game honored new Hall of Famers Larry Fitzgerald and Luke Kuechly and aired nationally on NBC with Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth calling the game. FanDuel opened the Cardinals as a 1.5-point underdog and the contest was available on NFL+ and Peacock. Coverage and postgame commentary noted Beck looked like a polished performer for a rookie, a take also reflected in early analysis that his outing strengthens his case in the Cardinals’ quarterback competition with Haynes King. The Hall of Fame Game marked the start of the NFL preseason and gives coaches fresh tape to inform roster decisions in the weeks before the regular season.
