ICE will limit public release of body camera footage
This was entirely predictable: “ICE will promptly release video of shootings and other encounters in which its agents cause death or serious injury only after determining “it is in the best interests of the agency” to do so.”
This has been the argument against body cams from the jump. If they can't be used to hold law enforcement or militias accountable, their only functions are to surveil the public and to justify violence against civilians.
One of a very long list of reasons why there's no reforming ICE.

hey, folks, this is what US cops have been doing since forever
This means that when they DON'T release them, they KNOW they've murdered/assaulted/violated the person. Otherwise they'd release the video.
