MeTV's Svengoolie is screening Lon Chaney Jr.'s 1941 sci-fi/horror Man-Made Monster tonight at 8 p.m. Detroit time. The film stars Lon Chaney Jr. and features Lionel Atwill as the unethical scientist who uses nefarious technology to create a revenge-seeking, electrically reanimated subject. Man-Made Monster is a 1941 entry often tied to early Universal horror and preceded Chaney Jr.'s later iconic monster roles. Tonight on #svengoolie we've got Lon Chaney Jr playing a sympathetic monster with Lionel Atwell in the Sci-fi/horror movie, Man Made Monster! If I'm being honest with you this is one of the lesser Universal Horrors in my opinion, but it's still good fun!
