Trump cryptocurrency took $100 million from investor Guren "Bobby" Zhou
“As Trump has blown $1.8 billion on construction projects, he’s also been busy profiting off the presidency through stock purchases that reek of insider trading, foreign licensing deals, crypto sales, and even the stocking of Trump wine and cider in stores run by the Coast Guard.” Absurdly corrupt.
There seems to be a strong likelihood that every one of these overbloated no-bid contracts includes a substantial kickback. Why wouldn't he? And I doubt the record-keeping is anywhere near in compliance with the Presidential Records Act, so it may be hard to know for sure unless someone squeals.
And congress does nothing. The 3 co-equal branches of government have fallen.
With that, the “Executive Branch” club in dc is a clearinghouse of fraud and kickbacks All so obvious it’s just gross
That wine and cider have to be so awful tasting.
Oof. No thanks, I'll stick with the Military Special.
Trump’s 3 Sons are MILLIONNAIRES since father took office & BILLIONS in Pentagon contracts Trump Economy is UNAFFORDABLE #usa Turn Congress blue get subpoena power & prosecute the Trump family cartel & corrupt Republicans Vote 💙 to impeach Trump for raping kids with Epstein
I’ve heard many, many commentators going ‘the Trump era has made us realise that many things we considered rules were in fact simply norms all along’ but it feels impossible that Congress and the SC wouldn’t utterly flip if a previous democrat president had done a 10th of what Trump has.
I wonder if America can get its head around how *absurdly* corrupt Trump is. Comically crooked. I read this week that it’s estimated his wealth increased by $2.2 billion in the *first year* of this presidency. I reckon he’s looking at a $10 billion take in total. How does the US reckon with that?
The curious case of Guren “Bobby” Zhou shows the ease with which investors with shady backgrounds and unknown motivations can funnel money to the president By Russ Buettner, who covers the Trump family’s finances. www.nytimes.com/2026/08/09/u...
“the involvement of the Trump family would typically trigger ‘the highest level of regulatory scrutiny available in the financial system’ … because international anti-money laundering laws classify the Trumps as ‘politically exposed persons’ with a heightened vulnerability to influence peddling”
In any prior era, a windfall for the president of that size from a foreigner with no signs of access to that level of wealth might have spawned an investigation. Instead, the curious case of Mr. Zhou illustrates how buyers can use the anonymity of cryptocurrency to shower Mr. Trump with money.
