Spider-Man: Brand New Day is maintaining a record-setting box-office run, with totals at $655 million domestically and $1.01 billion internationally for a $1.67 billion worldwide haul. Retail listings briefly showed new artwork for a $150.99 Collector’s Edition and a 4K UHD Steelbook before Amazon and other pages reverted to the global poster; the Collector’s Edition’s boxed set was described as including a recreation of the Amazing Fantasy #15 cover, a magnetic lenticular steelbook, and an original Spider-Man comic. The Steelbook art depicts Spider-Man’s fight with the crime syndicate The Hand and the Steelbook-only option has drawn notably more positive attention online than the pricier Collector’s Edition. Standard 4K preorders are available separately, and at publication there is no confirmed release date for DVD, Blu-ray, or 4K editions. IGN gave the film a 7/10, with reviewer Tom Jorgensen saying it refocuses on Spider-Man’s core pillars. Industry commentary in coverage says $2 billion worldwide now looks likely, which would push Brand New Day past the lifetime gross of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
