Spotify to label AI Persona artist profiles and exclude them from recommendations
Spotify is rolling out the ability to label artists as being an ‘AI Persona.’ The label can only be applied by creators themselves or by Spotify if they detect an artist to be AI-generated. Artists labelled as an AI Persona will be excluded from personalised recommendations.

Ballroom Jam3This completely misses the point. It's whether the music is AI generated or not. AI slop is AI slop built on stolen music. It doesn't matter whether the "artist" is real or fake - they're not an artist, they're a thief.
