Phantom Blade Zero just landed a long gameplay trailer and a dedicated PlayStation State of Play scheduled for August 17, with pre-orders now live and the PS5 price listed at $60. While you ignore the community's complaints, here is a reminder for anyone who may have missed it. Sony plans to stop selling physical games in 2028. That hurts consumer rights, game preservation, ownership, and gaming culture for more profit. Don't let them pretend nothing is happening.

I'd watch if I could buy and play (and own) this game on a physical disc beyond 2028. Because that's not happening (and you failed to properly address and communicate this). I have to recommend everyone to boycott Sony products. Better to buy it on Steam! store.steampowered.com/app/4115450/...

Outlets really have no excuse not to hire me to write about Phantom Blade Zero now. Donnie Yen is in the game, and I've likely seen more Donnie Yen films than anyone in games media. It also makes perfect sense since he and Kenji Tanigaki, action director on the game, have been together for decades.

Phantom Blade Zero being digital-only on PS5 is such a bummer. I'm not trusting the PC version to function (the precedent for UE5 speaks for itself), but what I really wanted to do was bring the game over to a friend later so he could borrow it. Probably picking up Silent Hill f instead. #blutoid
