American Horror Story Season 13 teaser reunites past cast

FX released the first teaser for American Horror Story: 13, showing returning fan-favorite characters and confirming Jessica Lange’s full return to the series as Constance Langdon from Murder House and as her other AHS roles Sister Jude Martin, Fiona Goode and Elsa Mars. The trailer also features Evan Peters as Kai Anderson alongside Tate Langdon and Rubber Man, Sarah Paulson as Cordelia Goode, Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau and Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery. John Carroll Lynch appears as Twisty the Clown; Mena Suvari’s Elizabeth Short, Gabourey Sidibe’s Queenie and Jamie Brewer’s Nan also appear. Creator Ryan Murphy said the season is not a direct continuation of Coven but a collation of elements across the anthology, with some actors playing two characters in the same scene. The confirmed ensemble includes Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari and Jessica Lange among others. Ariana Grande was announced then left the project because of a tour scheduling conflict. American Horror Story: 13 premieres September 24 on FX and Hulu in the United States and on Disney Plus in the United Kingdom.

I get so angry at the Academy that she has been denied an Oscar TWICE. First portraying Tina Turner and then the second Black Panther movie snub (I was in tears with her performance). These awards are a joke. 🤬

I never planned to go back to AHS after they crossed the picket line & kept making it during the strike a few years back. (Also didn't love the casting of Lady Gaga, personally.) However, Angela Bassett was phenomenal, & she's one of the best performers of all time (fight me)! I may reconsider!

She's such an excellent actor. I'm really excited to see her reprise the role. I grew up in Nola so of course Laveau, she's still a big deal. Basset plays it so well. Exactly how I envisioned Marie in my mind.
