Super Mario Brothers Super Show frames from Episode 6 circulate

Frames from Season 1 Episode 6 "Bonkers Form Yonkers" of The Super Mario Brothers Super Show circulated, sparking a burst of reinterpretation around familiar characters and moments. Several creators centered on Princess Peach, with a distinctive new Peach design and a Peach Month DTIYS driving reworks that lean into regal poses and color variations. Other posts riffed on classic franchise nostalgia, including a recreation of the first Nintendo Power cover recast with a Mario 2 vibe and a scene thread where the Broodals capture Prince Mango, which people have been turning into dramatic continuity moments. Amid those callbacks, voice lines and creature concepts like the Croachoir and Piantas’ party energy became touchstones for people remixing the episode’s tone into larger Mario-world scenarios.

Thought it would be fun to recreate the cover art of the first issue of Nintendo power, and give it a more Mario 2 aesthetic { - #fanart - #Mario - #SuperMario - #Nintendo - #clay - }

Clay art of Mario jumping away from Wart. They are in a background full of grass, hills, trees, mountains, and rivers. The sky has a castle on a cloud, and a bunch of small clouds

Man Will Vinton would be so proud, he’s the artist behind the Mario 2 Nintendo Power cover in case you are wondering.

My Mario oc, Princess Sativus hugging(?) Super Radiant Peach while Peach has her hand on Sativus’s face. Does it make sense that Peach is powered up here? No it does not lol. Anyway they are in a blue magenta bg while lovingly gazing at each other

The Croachoir is making its grand entrance! Not only can it let allies jump high with the leaf on its head, but it can also sing a song to boost its teammates stats. Keep passing the ball or bouncing teammates so the buff lasts longer #Mario #SuperMario #Art #Fanart #Yoshi #YoshiAndTheMysteriousBook

Croachoir

Debut: Yoshi and the Mysterious Book
Attack: Singsong Boost
Type: Support
Speed: 1/10
Power: 5/10
Pass: 10/10
Spike: 2/10

Large, stout birds that often live in big colonies. Compared to other avian creatures, the Croachoir doesn't have very big wings, so it tends to stay in one place. However, they wear a big leaf hat, and if a Yoshi or anyone else steps on it, they make a delightful sound! Hopping on many Croachoirs in a row can result in some wonderful songs. Croachoirs aren't good runners, but they make perfect passes if the ball lands on their leaves. They can also let their teammates make huge leaps off their heads to make spikes. Finally, the Singsong Boost is a special song that buffs the speed, power, and jumping ability of nearby teammates. Passing the ball around or helping teammates jump, which make the Croachoir sing, lets this buff last longer!

My favorite Super Mario game of all time. 🍄🎮❤️ I had fond memories of this game and played it with my grandpa during my family's visit at Texas back in the late 1990s. I really love Yoshi a lot too. Here's to another 35 years of Super Mario World! ⭐🎉 #SuperMarioWorld #gamesky #retrosky #supermario
