On his final night guest-hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live Jelly Roll addressed backlash over jokes about President Donald Trump and pushed back on claims that weight-loss drug Ozempic drove his transformation. The country star Jason DeFord joked that if Trump lost weight he might be able to "see [his] penis again" and then said those quips caught the attention of Fox News, playing a clip of Jesse Watters mocking him. DeFord denied using Ozempic and said he lost roughly 20 stone 275 pounds over three years before the "GLP-1 craze" began, quipping that Ozempic was "the only drug I haven't tried" and joking about cocaine before pivoting to a serious account. DeFord has appeared on the cover of Men’s Health and told that outlet he joined a program after failing to lose weight alone and that counting calories and macros was central to his approach. He described how excess weight had interfered with basic tasks and called the change a newfound freedom after decades feeling "imprisoned to a fat suit." On the show he combined humor and emotion to rebut media claims about his methods while reaffirming that diet and exercise produced his results.
