Is it too cynical to note that these people vandalised Trump’s golf course at Turnberry in March last year, and Trump came to Britain for a state visit in September, and that the proscription was between these two events? Probably not, I think. If nothing else, I’d guess it focused minds.

Prosecution needs at least 10-5 for a guilty verdict, anything less is not proven or not guilty (no hung juries, no retrials)
