Nottingham Forest draw Liverpool as penalty decision fuels debate
🚨BREAKING! - Everton have backed out of the Harrison Armstrong move to Nottingham Forest due to fans reaction (Source - Paul Joyce )
The fans understand football - and particularly the club - better than anyone there.👏👏👏
Once again, it’s down the the fans to pull the club out of the shit that terrible ownership has put us in. Regardless of the u turn, serious questions need to be asked of our owners and their intentions for the club. Moyes has been right all along in his frustration.
If this is true, then the travelling support deserve a lot of credit for making their (our) feelings known yesterday. We expect nothing less from our fans, but I for one am proud of their voices yesterday. #EFC
The penalty aside, today's second half showed what Liverpool are looking to be under Andoni Iraola. But will a poor first half be stamped out with time, transfers, or (the boring answer) a bit of both? www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbrg...
Munoz was good. Nyoni was a positive. Wirtz was again hmm but unlucky with his 'goal'. Isak needed that tap in but overall the service to him wasn't what's required. I've never been Gakpo's biggest fan but credit to him; he was good last week and again today. So many issues on and off the pitch.
To the headline he needs both and players back asap. But when he has options, he has to look more closely at Kerkez and Frimpong, so many attacks and good transitions end up in nothing because of hasty poor delivery. We talk about Isak etc needing to pull the stops out, but their lack of svc is key
1st half was not great, but we got better twds end of 1st half/2nd. Some notable good play, but again our delivery into the box from Kerkez and Frimpong is consistently sub standard. Yes Isak has to improve, but if your not getting quality service, these guys need benching when our options improve
A bit of frimpong warming the bench
