Outgoing Apple CEO Tim Cook is not interesting or innovative and has shown zero backbone in the face of fascism, but that's why he was SECRETLY SO AWESOME

When Tim Cook became Apple’s CEO in August 2011, he had big shoes to fill. His predecessor, Steve Jobs, was widely considered one of the world’s greatest innovators. https://cnn.it/4qJDPz0

If Tim Cook does this we should all refer to him as Tim Apple for the rest of his life.

For one more day, Tim Cook is still the CEO of Apple. Despite foibles, he was the right man in the right place to make Apple the financial and cultural juggernaut it is today. John Ternus is too.

Given how blatantly Tim Cook bent the knee to Trump over the years, I have no faith in that either. Even if he's not in charge anymore, I doubt they'd turn on a dime and shift what they're doing. Same thing happened with Gulf of America. Apple was just slow to update then too.

Perhaps, unlike Tim Cook, John Ternus knows the president will no longer be the president in a little over 2 years

The new CEO won't take over until Sep. Tim Cook praises him so don't expect much. He is a mechanical engineer and quite smart but that doesn't equal morality. People is pretty much a hype piece. people.com/who-is-john-...

Fairly sure Apple hasn’t done this yet because Tim Cook is the designated sin-eater and Ternus is about to become CEO. Bad timing.
