PAX West 2026 wraps, attendees name demos and highlights

PAX West 2026 closed after a four-day run concluding September 3-6. Attendees and developers highlighted playable demos including Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, A Tiny Wander and Madjack vs Magic, with the Belmont’s Curse developer thanking visitors for playtests. The show hosted speedruns on the GDQ stage, a continuing Freeplay Arcade, a Seattle Indies Expo presence and booths such as Konami. Indie teams showcased RUIN and The Final Cut of Lilith Cunningham, the latter announcing upcoming public events in October and November. Creators promoted new projects on-site, from Blood Dungeon interviews to a physical prototype of New Match City at the tabletop freeplay area. Organizers announced dates for PAX West 2027 as September 3-6, giving developers and fans a target for next-year follow-ups and demos.
