How one woman’s Tesla was remotely controlled and used to harass her

Enrico Pucci remotely accessed and controlled his former partner Stacey’s Tesla, manipulating its speed, locks, climate settings and a parental control profile added on 1 November 2025 that he alone could access. Stacey first heard the car alarm sound three times at night and then found the dashboard reset and the parental control profile added. Between 6 and 12 November 2025 Pucci repeatedly alternated the temperature between extremely cold and extremely hot and activated Valet Mode, which reduced the car’s speed to 40 km per hour, creating safety risks. Police documents record Pucci shouting at Stacey “You thought you’d get away with this. I am in your car. I am in your maps.” Pucci pleaded guilty to 30 domestic violence related charges, including using the Tesla app to harass her, and Judge Peter Feather sentenced him to two years and three months with a 15 month non-parole period at Parramatta local court. Feather found Pucci’s conduct over four years involved multiple methods to dominate Stacey, including forging employment opportunities to create dependency and coercive controlling behaviour. Police records also detail earlier abuse, including a March 2020 incident in which Pucci threatened that would be the last time Stacey saw her son and forcibly sent a message to the victim’s ex-husband.
