Today’s Bird of the Day theme is ABCD, asking contributors to post any bird whose name begins with A, B, C, or D; an alternate theme is RSTU and bonus points are offered for covering all letters. Gallery entries focus on field birding and close-up shots, highlighting local sightings and migration flocks as well as perched portraits.
