Warner Bros. released the final trailer and poster for Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Digger, starring Tom Cruise as Digger Rockwell, with a worldwide theatrical release set for October 2, 2026. The trailer frames Rockwell as the most powerful man in the world, a greedy oil baron racing to save humanity from a giant apocalyptic Greenland iceberg called Judy that he helped unleash. The ensemble includes Jesse Plemons, Sandra Hüller, Riz Ahmed, Sophie Wilde, Emma D'Arcy, Robert John Burke, Burn Gorman, Michael Stuhlbarg, and John Goodman. Iñárritu co-wrote the screenplay with Alexander Dinelaris, Nicolás Giacobone, and Sabina Berman, and produced the film with Cruise. Emmanuel Lubezki served as director of photography; the production filmed for six months in the UK in late 2024 and into 2025 on 35mm VistaVision. The trailer leans into absurdist, satirical tones likened to Dr. Strangelove, and the new footage restores some audience confidence after the first trailer divided viewers.
