AAA TripleMania Night 1: Omos brutalizes Rey Mysterio; new trios champions

At MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Omos destroyed Rey Mysterio in the TripleMania 34 Night 1 main event, finishing the match with a stretcher and a chokeslam-through-a-table spot. Announcers Corey Graves and JBL called the show, which distributed 6,433 tickets. Los Perros del Mal won the AAA World Trios Championship when Angel powerbombed Murder Clown to secure the pin and the titles. The undercard included a Mini Vikingo shooting star press pin over Mini Abismo Negro Jr. and an elimination bout won by Los Americanos after a decisive diving headbutt and side Russian leg sweep. The opening match was disrupted when Lady Shani left the match after an in-ring incident and did not return. AAA announced Marisela Pena will be inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame on October 24 at Heroes Inmortales in Mexico City.
