Ed Sheeran support acts quit Loop tour after Macklemore dropped
All four supporting acts have backed out of Ed Sheeran’s tour, including his own backing band. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...
If these times should teach us anything, it is that it is not the time to remain silent in the face of great evils and injustice.
In his statement Sheeran said "nor would I abandon the touring crew and the other support acts and musicians who rely on me for work and to make a living.” Then all of those people abandoned his tour. Tells us he cares so much about them that he didn't even talk to them about this before deciding
Saw this tonight “Ed Sheeran would one hundred percent hide a zombie bite.”

Ed Sheeran’s spine has just quit, claiming it was sick of being ignored.
Ed may not be into politics, but politics is into him
Edwin sheeran is een natte tosti
Robert Kraft is a supervillain, and we all know he's terrible. But how does Ed Sheeran recover from this? I'm curious if this is just a blip or something that will truly hurt his reputation and career. (Dude has over $300 million, so he'll be fine.)
I'm more upset about Pink, TBH.
SHEERAN will just pump more money to his PR handlers and stay quiet so he can continue pretending he’s a ‘good dude’ while playing his concerts 🤮 but even some of his stan accounts seem to be turning against him when it comes to this issue. let’s see 🤷♂️
Some people say it was Kraft that made the decision. They say Sheeran had no choice. I've known people in the music industry. Once you reach Sheeran's level you have achieved a level of power that most artists could never achieve. So who's to blame? Both. Stop with the rose tinted bullshit.
Perhaps Sheeran should acquaint himself with Pete Seeger, and the old union songs. Don’t scab for the bosses Don’t listen to their lies Us poor folks haven’t got a chance Unless we organize Which side are you on, boy? Which side are you on?
He might’ve been fine if he kept his mouth shut, but saying that politics has no place in art is absurd.
People keep trotting out that $300 million number but a massive chunk of it is tied up in his catalog. If people really fucking hate him that amount is nothing. I think it's $100 million outside of that.
Not to gleefully participate in the downfall of a celebrity but I have always thought Ed Sheeran sounded like one of the most corporate, made-by-committee singer-songwriters in existence and I'm glad he's getting his. The fact that people are recognizing Macklemore for the goat he is? Bonus.
Macklemore is not a perfect man but I fell in love with his whole bullshit when he went to bat for us queers before it was actually cool to do so and refused to back down on it. Everything he has done since has made me feel vindicated in my support.
I've hated ed sheeran from the first moment i heard him on the corporate-mandated work radio and i have never felt more vindicated in hating a man for his music
I cackled with each new announcement of someone dropping his tour.
