On AEW Dynamite Tommaso Ciampa ambushed International Champion Kazuchika Okada after Okada insulted him on camera by calling him "a bitch." Ciampa repeatedly called for "the Psycho Killer vs The Rainmaker" and struck Okada in a ringside/backstage attack, at one point not removing his shirt during the beatdown. The segment followed Okada smiling and taunting Ciampa immediately before the assault, and several posts framed the hit as a message pushing for a singles match. Multiple observers suggested the confrontation escalates toward a potential Ciampa vs Okada match at All Out.
