Miley Cyrus releases Bass Persuades, drops 'Let's Get Married' video

Miley Cyrus released her 10th studio album Bass Persuades and premiered a music video for the song "Let's Get Married" that features her fiance Maxx Morando. The romantic single explicitly sings about her future husband, and the video pairs Cyrus and Morando on-screen, per UPI and Just Jared coverage. Cyrus told Zane Lowe in an Apple Music interview that two sold-out Hollywood Bowl shows acted as the "ultimate dress rehearsal" for a possible residency after roughly 1.5 million people entered the ticket queue for about 35,000 available seats across the two nights. She said the demand confirmed her idea that she could stay put for multiple shows rather than tour, adding a personal reason that she likes to "sleep in my marshmallow bed." Bass Persuades arrived September 18, and the album rollout and Bowl demand leave open the prospect of expanded live dates or a residency instead of a traditional touring schedule.
