Forbes names Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos among richest Americans in 2026

Forbes released its 2026 list of the richest Americans, with Elon Musk listed as the richest for the fifth consecutive year. Musk, described in the report as Tesla CEO and former head of the Department of Government Efficiency, has a net worth of $908 billion. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is second with a net worth of $378 billion. Google co-founder Larry Page is third at $278 billion. Forbes also shows Musk leading its Global Real-Time Billionaires list as the fortunes of the wealthiest Americans continued to grow.
