I’m about to watch The Sixth Sense for the first time. I know about The Thing but don’t think I’ve watched this whole movie at once as intended.

In The Sixth Sense, Cole reveals early that dead people don’t know they’re dead, so the ending isn’t a twist, per se. It’s a lesson Malcolm needs to learn, despite clues hiding in plain sight. Taylor is playing a similar role to Cole, except she’s teaching her audience how to read subtext.

It’s a shame the ending became such a punchline later. As a twist, it’s so effective #TheSixthSense #FrightClub
