Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died on Sunday 20 September at age 27, Los Angeles county medical examiner records show. The death occurred at a rehab facility, though the medical examiner has not disclosed a cause. Allie Jenkins, a representative for Crawford and Rande Gerber, confirmed the death and said the family is asking for privacy. Gerber began modeling as a teenager after signing with IMG Models at 15, made his runway debut in 2016 for Moschino’s Resort show, and worked with brands including Celine, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana and Pepsi. He had publicly spoken about long-term struggles with depression, addiction and prescription medication dependency and had shared recovery updates on social media. In 2019 he was arrested for driving under the influence and was sentenced to three years’ probation, required to complete a DUI program and two days of community service. His sister Kaia Gerber described his “decade-long struggle with drug addiction” in the September 2026 issue of Vogue, and Cindy Crawford posted on 3 July expressing pride and love for her son.
