Tonight’s AEW Dynamite/Collision in Fishers Event Center, Indianapolis saw AEW World Champion Will Ospreay team with Speedball Mike Bailey to face Claudio Castagnoli and Gabe Kidd while Jon Moxley beat Dezmond Xavier in an Eliminator Match by locking in a body-lock sleeper submission. After the tag match Ospreay revealed he offered Bailey a spot in the United Empire and Bailey accepted, tying Bailey to Ospreay’s All Out plans. The episode opened with promos from The Demand, The New Level, and Swerve Strickland that led into a Trios title match where The New Level retained the AEW World Trios Championships after Kofi and Strickland hit a double-team House Call on Toa Liona; Hangman Page and Brodido confronted the champions afterward to hype their All Out defense. The show recalled last week’s segment in which Moxley again beat Ospreay in trios action and then attempted to injure Francesco Akira, a beat that framed tonight’s matches and the build into All Out this weekend. Backstage segments set additional stakes for All Out, including Thekla’s promo toward Willow Nightingale and Darby Allin and Steven Borden staking a tag title challenge after their planned All Out match, keeping several title programs pointed toward the pay-per-view.
