this is unfortunately not a surprise at all. the government knows it's pretty unpopular to outright kill 'undesirables', and so the second best route is to make them do it themselves they've been doing it with trans people. neurodivergency was always going to be next up

A wait for what? I got diagnosed this year and you could argue I’ve already been waiting for 54 years anyway. If someone has decided to seek diagnosis, I can’t see what this does other than kick the can? Gatekeepers love their 2 years don’t they - see also trans healthcare.
