Bought Coyote vs ACME on digital. Very good. More than anything I’m happy that we have a movie about Wile E Coyote that doesn’t feel the need to change him in any way to fit the film’s narrative, and instead it leans into the elements of the character that make him special.

If you want to see a great comedy about an evil corporation run by a cartoon character who speaks with an outrageous southern accent, you should skip DIGGER and watch COYOTE VS. ACME instead.

COYOTE VS. ACME is guaranteed to be in my top 10 of the year.

That was 95 minutes of unfiltered joy. Charming, hilarious, and poignant. It also has quietly mind blowing craft throughout. Wild that a Looney Tunes movie feels more like a real movie than a good chunk of studio movies from the last 10 years.

Coyote vs. Acme may be on digital platforms now but if it's still playing in theaters near you, I'd say take advantage of it while you still can.

I saw the ACME vs. Coyote movie tonight with the fellas. This movie would be great for kids if only the kids had 50 years of nostalgia for Looney Toones/Tex Avrey/Chuck Jones stuff- which they don't. Unlike similar movies (Who Framed Roger rabbit ect.) The studio did not commit to 2-D animation..
